Program Highlights

  • The MT Cardiovascular Disease and Diabetes Prevention Program staff recently received a 2008 Governor's Award for Excellence in Performance.
  • Congratulations to the MTCVDDPP for being the premier translation project for CVD and diabetes prevention in the country!

Data Highlights

  • Since Spring 2008 - 829 participants
  • 3,961,872 physical activity minutes so far! That's 66,031.2 hours!
  • 11,288 lbs lost so far!
  • 44% of program participants met the DPP weight loss goal ( 7% of their starting weight) -- an average 23 lbs!
  • 64% of program participants lost 5% of their starting weight -- an average 20 lbs!
